Essential Job Duties/Scope of Work:


International Medical Corps is a global, humanitarian, nonprofit organization dedicated to saving lives and relieving suffering through health care training and relief and development programs.

health interventions and related activities that build local capacity in underserved communities worldwide. By offering training and health care to local populations and medical assistance to people at highest risk, and with the flexibility to respond rapidly to emergency situations, International Medical Corps rehabilitates devastated health care systems and helps bring them back to self-reliance.

PROGRAM BACKGROUND
USAID has an unreleased 2- 5 year USD 25,000,000 – 75,000,000 opportunity on the forecast, APHIAPlus: AIDS Population and Health Integrated Assistance Plus. The follow-on project to a 5-year health services delivery project promotes the building of systems for communities to access integrated services for HIV/AIDS, family planning, reproductive health, malaria and tuberculosis.

JOB SUMMARY
The Consultant will serve as the Technical Proposal writer for the unreleased USAID APHIAplus project.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Specifically, the Consultant will complete the following tasks:

• Coordinating with IMC’s Desk, Technical staff, Development Innovations (DI), and Country Office, develop a comprehensive Technical Proposal responding to USAID’s to be released APHIAplus RFP. The Consultant will complete the Technical Proposal in the required electronic format by the to-be-determined due date.

1) Prepare a draft Technical Proposal following the specified format, observing page limits, and considering the technical evaluation criteria specified in the RFP by the to-be-determined due date.

2) Prepare a final Technical Proposal, allowing time for and incorporating feedback from the IMC Desk, Technical staff, Development Innovations (DI), and Country Office Staff by the to-be-determined due date.

Prevention of Sexual Exploitation and Abuse
• Actively promote PSEA (Prevention of Sexual Exploitation and Abuse) standards within International Medical Corps and amongst beneficiaries served by International Medical Corps.


Qualifications:


The Consultant will have 5 years USAID Proposal writing experience and at least 7 years of experience
 in the international development and/or humanitarian field with proven experience in designing and/or
 implementing integrated HIV/AIDS, tuberculosis, reproductive health, and family planning, maternal
