Clinical Advisor: Care and Treatment - THPS

THPS is currently seeking highly experienced, committed and  motivated Tanzanians to fill in the position of Clinical Advisor HIV Care and Treatment in Dar es salaam, Office.

Location: Pwani, with field travel up to 75% of the time.

Job Duties: 

• Assist health care providers at designated points of service in case finding and strengthening entry points in order to increase the number of referrals to the ARV units, from PMTCT, VCT and OPD and IPD and outreach services. Implement creatively efforts to support improved pediatric AIDS services, Identification and support.
• Work closely with Pediatrics and PMTCT Advisors to implement programs,
• Implement adherence strategies in health facilities and linked to PLHIV groups closely with the Adherence Officer/Advisor,
• Facilitate integration between TB and HIV services and infection control within CTC,
• Ensure that THPS-supported clinical care activities at multiple delivery sites conform to the Tanzanian national guidelines
