Yale Young African Scholars Program (YYAS)

The Yale Young African Scholars Program (YYAS) is a high-intensity six-day program designed for African secondary school students who have the talent, drive, energy, and ideas to make meaningful impacts as young leaders.

YYAS students are given the opportunity to participate in lectures and seminars taught by Yale faculty, local practitioners, and African students currently enrolled at Yale on topics ranging from diplomacy to education, urbanization, energy and health. YYAS also prepares students for demanding application processes of U.S Colleges and universities.

There is no cost for students to participate in YYAS. Admission is highly selective. For more information and eligibility requirements: visithttp://globalscholars.yale.edu/africa
